Local Control & Curbing Federal Overreach
We must rein in government and recognize that the government closest to the people serves them best. The legislature should use taxpayer dollars responsibly while limiting unnecessary regulations and government interference. With the federal government owning more than half of Wyoming’s land, federal overreach must be challenged. I will work to protect Wyoming’s authority, defend our industries, and push back against policies that harm our communities, agriculture, and economy.
Education
As a mother of four and grandmother of ten, I believe we must invest in Wyoming’s next generation. That means supporting strong local schools, ensuring education funding is spent wisely, and giving parents a meaningful voice in their children’s education. I will work with teachers, school boards, and families to strengthen our public schools while supporting educational opportunities that best meet the needs of Wyoming students.
Improving Rural Communities
Wyoming’s small towns are the backbone of our state, and keeping them strong requires investing in the infrastructure that supports our communities and quality of life. At the same time, property taxes continue to strain family budgets. While recent tax relief was a step in the right direction, I will continue working to find responsible solutions that provide relief for taxpayers while ensuring local governments can continue delivering essential services.
Mental Health
Through my service on boards focused on mental health, I know Wyoming must prioritize strong funding and support for mental health services across the state. Expanding access to care is essential so our neighbors can get the help they need when they need it. I will work to strengthen rural ambulance services, support local public health offices and hospitals, and ensure our healthcare systems remain viable in every community. I also believe our seniors deserve quality care and support that allows them to remain in their homes as long as possible.
Protecting Water and Property Rights
Water is one of Wyoming’s most precious resources, especially for our agricultural communities and everyone who calls this state home. As a headwater state, we must protect our water rights and ensure they are not diminished. I will work to defend not only water rights but all private property rights, large and small, so Wyoming landowners and producers can continue to use and manage their resources without unnecessary interference.
Fighting for Wyoming's Core Industries
I support Wyoming’s core industries—coal, natural gas, oil, bentonite, and uranium—which are the backbone of our economy and provide jobs across the state. I will work to ensure our power grid and transmission infrastructure remain reliable and sustainable while keeping energy affordable for families and businesses. I will continue to stand with these industries and advocate for sustainable energy development that strengthens Wyoming’s economy and energy independence.
