This is Marilyn Connolly, candidate for House District 40.

I hope you're doing well. I wanted to take a moment to ask for your support as voting begins.

Over the past several months, I've had the opportunity to visit with many wonderful people throughout House District 40. Those conversations have been one of the best parts of this campaign. If you plan to vote by absentee ballot, absentee voting is available from July 21 through August 17. In Johnson County, absentee ballots can be requested by phone, mail, email, or in person through the Johnson County Clerk's Office. After you've completed your ballot, you can return it by mail or deliver it to the Clerk's Office in person before the deadline. For additional information about absentee voting, election dates, and voter resources, please visit the Johnson County Elections website.

If voting absentee works best for you, I encourage you to request your ballot soon and make a plan to return it before August 17.
